0900Hrs - We had a cold breakfast at our hotel and set off for CKS Memorial Hall.
One of the Taiwanese universities were having a charity carnival. It is very crowded and fun!
Poor thing. Got to stand there without moving for an entire hour!
We then walked to the President Building, nothing much.
From the President Building, we walked towards Taoyuan Street. If you have been to Taipei, you should know that Taoyuan Street is famous for its beef noodles. Before the trip, I heard that the best beef noodles there is the one without a shop name! Quite unbelievable but when we enter Taoyuan St, there is really one without signboard and there are a lot of people inside eating.
Took a photo of the shop when we left. So you know what to look for at Taoyuan St!
1300Hrs - We went back to our hotel to check in our new room at King National Hotel. The room was more than double the size of the previous one! Can you accept that? Took a short nap before heading to Long Shan Temple.
1600Hrs - We set off to Long Shan Temple by MRT and Long Shan Temple is full of people!
1700Hrs - We walked to Hua Xi NM which is not far away from Long Shan Temple.
Ate the dried cuttlefish only because Hua Xi NM is more of a snake night market. You can actually give it a miss.
1900Hrs - We took the MRT back to XiMenDing and had our dinner there.
Ji Guang Xiang Xiang Chicken is one of the better fried chicken in Xi Men Ding but definitely not in Taipei! Will share with you the Shilin fried chicken later!
You would normally see roadside food stalls in Xi Men Ding and they will run when police comes over but do not despair, they will come out once the coast is clear!
This beancurd is bought from the Braised Organ stall. Must eat snack from the stall!
